Life on the Streets: Day 1 – Part 4

Almost to Circular Quay but think I’ll see how good of a spot this is for a bit. Well lit. Witnesses. Benches. Still has corners I can hide in.

MUST find water source.

Location: Outside Opera House





Walked through Circular Quay. Found a 24 hour diner that I never noticed in daylight before. I am sitting by the Opera House.

Five sleeping homeless people at Circular Quay.

Don’t think I would quite fit in yet. I still think I’m to clean. A security guard just walked past me and a jogger going the opposite direction. It’s weird, minus the roadway and walking area, ALL the lights on the Bridge and Opera House are off.

Kinda makes me feel more alone.

Woke up apparently I did get some sleep.

Hard Surface… my body hates me.

Decided to ride train until after sunrise so that I’m not so cold.

I apparently got a bit more sleep. Now people are on their morning commute.

Next time we get to Circular Quay I’ll get off.

Unfortunatly, I have no idea where I am or how long till I get back to Circular Quay.

Skipped Circular Quay to get a bit more sleep and have decided to get off at Central.

I need to refill my water bottle before I get dehydrated.

Going to try to find one of the stops I made last night to take a daylight picture of the Bridge, House, and Skyline.

Still no luck with the search for water.

Location: Ferry parked at Circular Quay

Refilled water bottle.

Location: Half way between Quay and House




Left ferry, walked to botanical gardens. Sun decided to come out.

Going to try again for dock I was at last night. It would be way easier if I knew the name.

Got way more sleep.

Still feel isolated.
